3 Minutes to Change the World

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

We pray for traveling mercies as we prepare to head to Ethiopia, the ancient land of our holy ancestors.  I am constantly reminded  of how God has used creativity to order our lives and our world.  From the beauty of Nature around us to the awesomeness of the technology that makes it possible for us to communicate in an instant and to travel at the speed of light. We are excited as we prepare to gather for the convocation and for the power of prayer and of unity of purpose.  Continue to be creative and celebrate those gifts with which you have been blessed.

"Like good stewards of the manifold Grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received."- 1 Peter 4:10

May the Lord of ALL continue to shine God's LIGHT and Inspiration on us all.

Peace and Blessings,

Greetings :
First, giving honor and praises to God, I am grateful for the opportunity to express my thanksgiving for the gifts of Life, Faith, creativity and art-making in the service of the Lord. Also, this is my first blog.  So, I am so thankful to be able to share my thoughts with you all with the lightening speed and awesome technology God has granted us to use for God's purpose.

God, the Creator, is the source of all creativity. And, in creating wo/man in God's own image, God gave wo/man the gifts of creativity as well.
God is the giver of all gifts, and God chooses which gifts to give to whom. God did not create everyone the same. To some God gives artistic ability in the visual arts, to others dance, theatrical and/or musical ability, to others the ability to write poetry and prose, to others the ability to make things with their hands. God gives inspiration, knowledge, skill, ability and craftsmanship. God, in God's wisdom gave you exactly the creative gifts that God wanted you to have. Your gifts are part of who you are. They are part of the person that God created you to be.  So we should receive these gifts with thanksgiving and use them to the best of our ability. We should use these gifts as tools of praise, enlightenment and encouragement, all, in the service of God. So, remember with a prayerful heart, what the scripture says regarding your gifts:
"Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy... Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all."                                                                                       1 Timothy 4:14,15

Our Creative Work is Prayer in Action; Work daily, Pray daily.

                                                                          Peace, Love and Light,
                                                                           Nashormeh Lindo
